BIG PHARMA POLITICS: Consumers pressure politicians to do something about rising drug prices. Read More
I am 73 years old and in pretty good health. Except I fell in March and really messed up my back. The spine was pressing on the sciatic nerve so I had an operation. It fixed it and I thought I’m good to go. But I started having trouble standing up. They did a MRI and found I had also fractured my L 1. Had to get that fixed. Nine months and I’m starting to feel pretty good.
In October I went to get my prescription of Eliquis filled to find out now I’m in the donut hole. I had been paying $45 for them. But now they are $166 a month. What a shock.
Glad for the new year. Medical companies are making billions on pills for old people.
